At Alchemy Collective, we provide trauma-informed, holistic treatment for substance use disorders that addresses both the patterns of substance use and the underlying factors that contribute to these patterns. Our approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and focused on helping you build a sustainable recovery that encompasses all aspects of wellbeing.

Substance use disorders involve complex patterns of alcohol or drug use that lead to significant impairment or distress. These patterns can range from mild to severe and often develop as ways of coping with difficult emotions, trauma, chronic stress, relationship challenges, or other life circumstances. Many people with substance use concerns also experience co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or relational difficulties.

Our treatment approach recognizes that substance use often begins as an attempt to solve problems such as emotional pain, trauma symptoms, social anxiety, or difficulty regulating the nervous system. Rather than focusing solely on eliminating substance use, we work to understand the needs these substances have been meeting and to develop healthier alternatives. This approach addresses the root causes of substance use while building the skills and support systems necessary for sustainable recovery.

We utilize evidence-based approaches including trauma processing, somatic therapies, internal parts work, cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and relapse prevention planning. For many clients, we also incorporate family systems work, as relationship patterns often play a significant role in both substance use and recovery. Our therapists work collaboratively with medication providers, recovery coaches, and support groups when these additional resources are beneficial.

Many clients find that addressing substance use becomes a doorway to deeper healing and personal growth. Beyond achieving sobriety or reduced substance use, clients often experience improvements in emotional regulation, relationship quality, self-understanding, and overall life satisfaction. We believe in meeting you wherever you are in your relationship with substances while supporting your movement toward greater freedom, health, and authenticity.
