I feel honored to share in the growth and healing process of others. I come to the counseling field with a background in health and fitness as a personal trainer, marathon and triathlon coach, and Licensed Massage Therapist. My background provides me with an unique, holistic lens to address the whole person. The services I provide are compassion focused, exploratory, and highly relational. With my strength-based, collaborative approach to therapy, I endeavor to empower individuals to create more authentic and wholehearted lives by embracing vulnerability and practicing courage.
I have received specialized training in and utilize evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, CRM (Comprehensive Resource Model), AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Additionally, I am a Certified Daring Way Facilitator (CDWF) by Brene Brown.
I also have a passion for couples therapy. I draw upon my PACT training which combines elements of attachment theory, neuroscience, and arousal regulation to support the practice of secure functioning. It is a privileged to witness the messy parts that come with relationships and to non-judgmentally work with couples toward creative solutions.
