You are going through something that has changed your life in ways you never expected. You may be grieving someone you love, preparing for a loss, questioning who you are, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself and unsure of what comes next. Sometimes we don’t have one clear reason for seeking therapy. We just know something feels heavy or harder to carry alone. Anna creates a warm, genuine space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing and feel truly seen and heard. She works with many forms of grief and loss, including anticipatory grief, end of life and death, chronic and life altering
illness, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Anna has a particular appreciation for the complicated forms of loss that can come with changes in identity, family, trust, or the future we once imagined. Sometimes what we are grieving isn’t a person, but a version of ourselves, a relationship, a sense of safety, or a life we thought we would have.
Anna’s approach is grounded in Person Centered and Existential therapy and informed by trauma informed care, mindfulness, and a holistic understanding of the whole person. She is attentive to the ways our emotions, bodies, relationships, identities, values, and life experiences shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. Anna works collaboratively with you to make sense of your experience, reconnect with what matters to you, and find a path forward that feels authentic to who you are. Outside of therapy, Anna loves traveling, experiencing different cultures, being in nature, and learning from the people and places she encounters. With much of her family living overseas, connecting across cultures and different ways of seeing the world has always been meaningful to her. At home, she is a mom to a young daughter and shares life with a dog and two cats. Anna holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Edward’s University and is a National Certified Counselor. She practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under clinical supervision and is committed to continuing to learn, grow, and show up authentically for the people she works with.0
