Tasha approaches therapy as a collaborative journey built upon trust, curiosity, and the courageous choice to keep walking toward what wants to be discovered, empowered, and nurtured within us. She believes healing is not a solitary path but one we walk in the company of others - that re-connection to ourselves and to those around us is where the mending begins. It is her greatest honor to journey alongside clients in the fullness of who they are, helping to cultivate a soft place to land at every turn.
Her clinical foundation is grounded in Person-Centered and Relational-Cultural approaches, with a practice that is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, relational, and integrative. Trained in EMDR, NARM, parts work, and CRM, Tasha frequently draws on developmental neurobiology and somatic approaches to help clients gather back the fragmented pieces of themselves—mind, body, spirit, and emotion—into re-union. As a Queer, multi-racial Latina born in a border city, she carries a deep understanding of how identity, culture, and the land we come from shapes our healing. Because of this, she roots her practice in frameworks that center personal and collective liberation.
Tasha specializes in working with complex trauma survivors, neurodivergence, Plural folxs, and Queer and gender-diverse individuals. She frequently supports survivors of interpersonal violence and family-of-origin abuse, as well as those navigating complex grief, exploring their identities, recovering from religious trauma and high-control groups, and experiencing dissociative disorders, particularly Dissociative Identity Disorder.
As a complex trauma survivor herself, Tasha knows firsthand that it takes courage not only to seek support, but to let another venture with us into the places we guard most closely. She meets clients there, in that tender ground - honoring where they have been, sitting with them where they are now, and tending the seeds of where they hope to be.
