Paula Ramirez

Paula approaches therapy with the understanding that healing begins from within, believing that radical change starts with reclaiming the relationship with oneself. Her approach is deeply rooted in the belief that healing happens both in the body and in relationship. She prioritizes embodiment in her work, drawing on her background in trauma-informed yoga and somatic practices while honoring each individual's pace.

Paula understands from personal experience that the journey to healing often begins with being fully seen in both pain and joy. Relational safety is at the heart of her work, creating a space where clients can show up fully—vulnerable, honest, and courageous—without fear of judgment.

She approaches therapy with an anti-oppressive framework, understanding that healing is not just about the individual but about collective liberation. Paula is particularly attuned to working with clients for whom immigration is a core part of their story, survivors of various forms of trauma, those navigating body image concerns or eating disorders, members of the queer community, and creatives, artists, organizers, or change-makers.
