Savannah Johnson

Since beginning her graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024, Savannah has had the opportunity to work with children, families, couples, and individuals navigating a variety of mental health concerns and life transitions. She is Prepare/Enrich certified, allowing her to provide specialized premarital and marriage counseling. She is also completing EMDR training in December 2026 to further expand the tools and resources she brings into her work with clients.

Savannah practices under the supervision of LaVonne Dyste, LPC-S, and draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused approaches to create a counseling experience that is both supportive and practical. She believes that counseling should be a collaborative process where clients feel heard, understood, and equipped with tools to navigate life’s challenges.

Having worked in faith-based counseling settings serving both Christian and non-Christian clients, Savannah values meeting each person where they are. For clients who desire it, she welcomes the opportunity to thoughtfully integrate faith and Christian perspectives into the counseling process.
