Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDR-Certified

Erin offers compassionate therapy for anxiety, depression, and relationship issues with a client-centered approach at Alchemy Collective.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the quiet spaces—the places where people whisper truths they’ve never said out loud, where old wounds live just beneath the surface, and where resilience flickers like a flame waiting to be fanned. I’ve spent more than 25 years walking alongside people as they navigate grief, trauma, anxiety, chronic illness, caregiving, and relationship pain. But the most meaningful work I’ve done has always started the same way: by helping someone feel safe enough to finally exhale.

My own story has been shaped by both deep love and deep loss, and by the powerful reminder that healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in relationship. In the presence of someone who can hold the weight of your story without turning away. Becoming a therapist was never just a profession for me—it was a calling. One born out of my own lived experience and an unwavering belief in the possibility of transformation.

When I was 30, my 15-month-old daughter died in a drowning accident. Three days later, I found out I was pregnant again. I couldn’t look at water. I couldn’t return to trauma work. But I had a child on the way and another who needed me. That chapter of my life brought me to EMDR therapy—and it changed everything. It allowed me to process unimaginable grief, to reclaim a future I thought I’d lost, and to find a way forward that honored my pain without staying trapped in it. Eventually, I became a baby and toddler swim instructor, working with children—especially those with special needs—to help them learn how to survive in water. It was a full-circle moment of healing and purpose.

I’ve been where many of my clients are: trying to function as a mother, partner, and professional while carrying invisible emotional weight. That experience made me a more grounded, compassionate, and present therapist. There is nothing you can say that will shake me. I meet my clients where they are—with steadiness, warmth, and deep respect.

I work with those in transition—people who feel stuck in lives that no longer fit, women emerging from toxic or confusing relationships, teens searching to find their footing, and individuals navigating trauma and grief that they’ve carried for far too long. I also support those living with chronic illness or caring for an ill loved one—whether a parent, partner, or child. These clients often carry a quiet, relentless emotional burden, one that’s rarely acknowledged but deeply felt.

Many of the people I work with describe a low hum of disconnection—a sense of going through the motions while something essential feels just out of reach. They are often high-functioning, thoughtful, and accomplished—and yet, beneath the surface, they’re yearning for something more. More aliveness. More clarity. More peace.

My approach is collaborative and integrative. I trust the wisdom of the body and the necessity of slowing down. Therapy with me isn’t just about reducing symptoms—it’s about restoring connection to your whole self. I’m particularly passionate about helping people set and maintain healthy boundaries, reclaim their voice, and shift from surviving to thriving.

I believe that healing is sacred and deeply human. Transformation unfolds when we acknowledge the wisdom of the nervous system alongside the depths of the soul. In this space, I offer weekly therapy for those seeking consistent support, EMDR intensives for clients ready to dive into deeper work in a shorter time frame, and adjunct therapy for those already in treatment who want to explore EMDR as a complement to their current process. Whether we meet in person or virtually, my intention is the same: to create a space where your healing feels both possible and supported.

I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by emotion and unsure of what comes next. I also know what it’s like to slowly, gently reclaim a sense of self—one that feels grounded, worthy, and free. My hope is that in working together, you’ll not only begin to release what no longer serves you, but also rediscover what’s been waiting patiently within you all along.
